An open book laid flat across a threshold: the composition asks to be read from above, page by page, the way a doorway is crossed slowly rather than passed through.
Design Story
The artwork mimics dense embroidery \Uffffffff raised stitch textures in aged cream, plum, moss and umber. Two facing pages create near-symmetry, split by a purple spine carrying a brass triple-moon medallion, the visual anchor at dead centre. Left page: a crescent moon, lavender sprigs, oak leaves and a moth rendered in muted violet, with the words Moon, Herbs, Protection, Intentions, A Brighter Tomorrow. Right page: a seated black cat, a corked bottle reading Kindness, Courage, Magic Always, and a single orange pumpkin \Uffffffff the only warm accent, placed low to weight the composition. The tension is gentle: darkness in palette, softness in message.
Entryway & Styling
On a doormat's rectangular footprint the book shape fills the surface edge to edge, its rounded page corners echoing the mat's border. Viewed from standing height the central medallion reads first, then the text columns, then the smaller botanical detail \Uffffffff a hierarchy built for glancing down.
Size & Dimensions
Available sizes: 16" \Uffffffff24", 20" \Uffffffff32", 24" \Uffffffff36", 30" \Uffffffff40".
A threshold piece that speaks quietly, in stitches rather than statements.
