A quiet composition built for late light. A witch sits still on her broom, a black cat beside her, both facing a golden moon over a spired town.
Design Story
The circular format does the structural work here. A segmented, stained-glass-looking field of amber, violet and burnt orange radiates outward from the moon, while a leaf-and-blossom border traces the full curve of the disc. Compass stars anchor the vertical axis at top and bottom, and a crescent motif crowns the piece. The two silhouettes read almost entirely as dark negative space against the warm centre, which is why the focal structure holds from across a room. Palette discipline matters: deep plum against molten gold, with small lantern highlights acting as punctuation.
Window & Light Styling
As a round window hanging, the design is centred rather than spread, so the composition stays balanced however the piece turns on its chain. Facing available light, the darker silhouettes stay graphic while the warm mid-tones open up. It suits a window, a doorway, or a styled autumn corner where a single hanging piece carries the whole mood.
