A single skull sits at the centre of a circular disc, held perfectly still by everything arranged around it. Nothing moves here. The composition simply waits.
Design Story
The design reads as a stained-glass-looking segmented panel: deep wine reds, sage greens and near-black fields divided by gold filigree. At the centre, an ivory skull is engraved with scrollwork, its brow marked by a small dark rosette, its eye sockets deep enough to anchor the whole circle. Symmetry does the work \Uffffffff crescent moons at the upper corners, three lit candles at left, right and base, two ravens perched inward, and roses in black and crimson repeating around the axis. The border treatment follows the round format with a warm gold ring, closing the composition. It is ornamental rather than aggressive: mortality rendered as decoration, calm and deliberate.
Window & Light Styling
As a round window hanging, the circular disc silhouette matters. Placed against glass, the darker fields and gold linework read as a single dense medallion, while the hanging chain accent keeps the piece centred and slightly mobile in the frame of a window or doorway. Best given negative space around it \Uffffffff a plain pane, a quiet entry \Uffffffff so the symmetry can hold.
