The upper is built in panels: a cream mid-foot carrying the central crest, deep oxblood croc-effect texture at the toe box and heel, and thin gold lines threading the seams to tie the two tones together. The focal point sits exactly where the eye expects it, a laurel-wreathed oval crest with the interlocked SF monogram, crowned above and balanced by a small plaque reading EST. 1946 toward the heel. Ornamental gold filigree fans across the rear quarter, adding decoration without crowding the center. It is a heraldic composition on a sports silhouette, and the restraint of the cream field is what keeps it legible.
