The first thing the eye catches is the gold. It runs as a rim at the top, a band at the base, and thin filigree lines that curve up the body like airflow drawn in metal. Everything else is deep, fractured black.

Design Story

The wraparound composition treats the tumbler like a fuselage. A speckled charcoal texture fills the surface, cut through by sweeping gold pinstripes and two slashes of racing orange that echo the swoosh above the McLaren wordmark and the words FORMULA 1 TEAM. Below that, a gold-edged hexagonal crest reads EST. 1963, WOKING ENGLAND, and near the base a second plaque carries HAUTE COUTURE EDITION with the numerals 001 / 963. It is a quiet hierarchy: logo, crest, plaque, top to bottom, each element given room to breathe. The orange straw and matching accents finish the palette without shouting.
