Design Story

The composition is strictly vertical and centred. A shield sits at the optical heart of the panel, carrying a stylised Space Needle in deep blue against bright green, flanked by the dates 1974 and 2007. Above it, an arched banner reads Seattle Sounders; below, a smaller medallion holds a city skyline, then Seattle, then The Rave Green in a slim ribbon. Around all of this, silver-toned filigree curls outward like engraved metalwork, studded with rendered gemstones in blue, green and clear tones. The ornament is dense, but it never competes with the crest \Uffffffff every scroll bends inward, pushing the eye back to the centre. Contrast does the work: cool blue against acid green, bright jewel points against dark recesses.

Use & Experience

On a tumbler's vertical silhouette, this hierarchy reads well from a distance. The crest occupies the front-facing focal area at eye height, the arched lettering follows the curve of the wraparound composition, and the banded borders at rim and base close the design like a frame. The green-toned handle echoes the palette, so the object holds together as one piece rather than a graphic applied to a shape.
