The eye lands on the gold first. Then the checkered flags. Then, quietly, the little number 23 car parked in the middle of it all.
Design Story
This is racing culture rendered as Art Deco. Fanned rays of cream, black and antique gold radiate from the center like a theater marquee, framed by checkerboard blocks and thin crimson pinstripes. A raised nameplate carries the NASCAR wordmark near the top. Below it, an oval medallion holds the Daytona International Speedway lettering, a banked curve of track, palm silhouettes and a low-slung stock car. A second plaque reads VICTORY LANE, capped by a winged emblem. Nothing here is in motion. The composition is still, symmetrical and ceremonial, closer to a trophy face than a race broadcast.
Use & Experience
The vertical tumbler silhouette suits the layout perfectly. The radiating rays follow the taper of the body, while the wraparound composition keeps the front-facing focal panel readable from any angle. Visual hierarchy stacks cleanly: brand mark, medallion, plaque. The dark handle and lid frame the graphic without competing with it, so the gold reads as the anchor.
