Design Story

The composition is built like a coat of arms: a crowned shield anchors the front-facing focal panel, framed by fine gold filigree that curls outward and dissolves into the surface rather than fighting it. Inside the shield, 'LOS ANGELES LAKERS' sits above a basketball and net rendered in flat gold linework, with a banner reading 'PURPLE & GOLD DYNASTY' closing the shape. Lower typography and a small emblem occupy the base, leaving generous negative space between the two blocks. The palette is deliberately narrow \Uffffffff saturated purple against a single warm gold \Uffffffff so tonal contrast, not colour variety, creates the depth.

Use & Experience

On a tumbler, vertical proportion is everything, and this design uses it well. The crest sits high on the body where it stays visible in the hand and above a bag pocket, while the lower lettering carries the eye down toward the base.
