The eye lands on the centre first: an oval medallion holding the spur-and-star emblem, framed by a ring of tiny faceted points that catch light like frost on metal. Everything else in the composition exists to lead you back to it.
Design Story
The wraparound artwork is built in layers. Scrollwork, rosettes and Gothic arches spiral outward from the focal panel in a silvered, engraved-looking finish, set against deep matte black. Near the base, a smaller band repeats the motif in miniature \Uffffffff a basketball and hoop flanked by two spur marks, like footnotes to the main statement. The restraint is what makes it work: a monochrome palette, no colour distraction, and enough negative space inside the medallion for the emblem to breathe. It reads as heraldry rather than sportswear graphics.
Use & Experience
On a tumbler's vertical proportion, the design behaves like a column. The ornamental border sits high near the lid line, the medallion holds the mid-body where the eye naturally rests, and the patterned band anchors the base. The handle side stays clear, so the focal panel always faces forward when carried. It's a bold graphic accessory that still looks composed on a desk.
