Design Story

The composition is strictly vertical and symmetrical. Arched lettering reading NEW ENGLAND sits above a heavier PATRIOTS wordmark in deep navy, drawing the eye downward into the focal panel: a crested shield with outstretched wings, laurel branches, a row of stars along the upper band, and the familiar profiled patriot head at center. A ribbon beneath carries EST. 1960. Below that, five stars punctuate the empty cream space, and a pair of thin crimson rules frame LIMITED EDITION near the base. The palette stays disciplined \Uffffffff navy, muted crimson, silvered relief on warm off-white \Uffffffff so the shield reads as the sole visual anchor. Restraint is the argument here: the negative space does as much work as the ornament.

On a tall tumbler silhouette, the layout suits the form. The wordmark and crest occupy the front-facing focal area at eye level, while the lower banding wraps the base like a plinth.
