Design Story

The composition is built in tiers. At the top, a circular window frames a castle silhouette beneath a crescent moon and scattered stars, its towers lit in small amber points against deep blue \Uffffffff the only cool passage in an otherwise warm field. Below it, an ornamental crest carries the letter H, flanked by a lion and a serpent modeled in raised gold, with the banner reading HOGWARTS. Further down, a dark plaque holds the motto DRACO DORMIENS NUNQUAM TITILLANDUS, and a compass rose set with a blue stone closes the arrangement. Red, near-black and gold repeat throughout, with filigree filling the space around each element so densely that the plain plaque becomes a rest for the eye. The stillness is deliberate: this is architecture, not action.

Use & Experience

On a tumbler, the design reads as a wraparound column. The moon medallion sits at natural eye level as the focal panel, the crest anchors the middle, and the ornament tapers toward the base, following the vertical proportion of the vessel. Even the handle carries a small crest, so the object holds its detail from every side \Uffffffff a quiet statement piece rather than a loud one.
